Vendor Listing Policy

Who Can Sell
Any individual, shop, or business operating in Mathikere, Yeshwanthpur and surrounding areas may apply to sell on MathikereMart.com. We welcome:
- Grocery and fresh produce sellers
- Home-based food businesses and tiffin services
- General and kirana stores
- Clothing, household, and lifestyle product sellers
- Any legitimate local business with genuine products to sell
Approval Process
All sellers are manually reviewed before being listed. We reserve the right to approve or decline any application without providing a reason. The review process typically takes 1–3 business days.
Product Listing Standards
- All products must be accurately described — correct name, weight, quantity, and ingredients where applicable
- Product photos must be genuine and representative of the actual item
- Prices must include all applicable taxes
- Out-of-stock items must be marked as such promptly
- Prohibited products (see below) must not be listed
Prohibited Products
- Counterfeit or duplicate branded goods
- Expired or near-expiry food products
- Alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances
- Products requiring licences the seller does not hold
- Any item illegal under Indian law
Order Fulfilment
- Sellers must confirm or decline orders via WhatsApp within a reasonable time
- Confirmed orders must be fulfilled unless genuinely out of stock
- Sellers must communicate delays proactively to the customer
- Repeated order cancellations or non-fulfilment may result in removal from the platform
Quality Standards
All food products must comply with FSSAI guidelines. Sellers are solely responsible for the safety, quality, and legal compliance of their products. MathikereMart.com is not liable for any product-related issues.
Removal from Platform
MathikereMart.com reserves the right to remove any seller or product listing at any time for policy violations, poor performance, customer complaints, or any other reason at our discretion.
